Prise de parole (2 à 3 minutes). Présentez une figure scientifique réelle du monde anglophone (Darwin, Fleming, Franklin, Turing, Carson…) selon ce plan : identifier, exposer la découverte en trois phrases, dire ce qu'elle a changé, poser une question éthique qu'elle soulève.

Un modèle rédigé (extrait, sur Alan Turing) :
« I would like to talk about Alan Turing, a British mathematician who lived from 1912 to 1954. During the Second World War, he helped to break the German Enigma code. In 1950, he proposed a test: instead of asking whether a machine can think, he asked whether it could hold a conversation without being recognised as a machine. This changed the way we ask the question, and it is still the starting point of most discussions about artificial intelligence. The ethical question it raises is simple to state and hard to answer: if we cannot tell a machine from a person, does it matter which one we are talking to? »
Grille de correction en quatre points :
- l'identification est exacte et complète : nom, nationalité, dates, domaine ;
- la découverte est exposée en trois phrases au prétérit (elle est datée), et son effet actuel au présent ou au present perfect ;
- la portée est dite en termes vérifiables (« ce que cela a changé »), sans superlatif gratuit ;
- la question éthique est posée, pas tranchée : le locuteur montre l'enjeu, il ne délivre pas un verdict. C'est la marque d'une présentation de niveau lycée réussie.
